In a smoothie bowl, you can mix unblended and blended components, like granola or oats, to give some variation. However, it is essential to select granola with reduced sugar content. Blended smoothies retain the fibrous integrity of ingredients while also breaking down fiber in fruits and vegetables. This is exactly why smoothie bowls are much easier to digest. You can include protein powder to some of your smoothie bowls, in case you would like that extra dose of protein. You can also play up with the liquids you use such as coconut water could be used instead of almond milk if you want a thinner consistency in your smoothie bowl. The best part about a smoothie bowl is that it is extremely versatile. So, keep these ideas in mind and indulge yourself with that perfect smoothie that has all your favorite fruits!
